You should be able to pick up copies of the North Channel Star at one of several 24-hour Kroger stores, or at the large box sitting in front of the IHOP at I-10 and Uvalde, as well as the post office in Galena Park and the courthouse porch on Wallisville. Thank you for your interest!
Is there a date set for the run-off election in Galena Park?
Here are the times and dates of the run-off election for Galena Park:
– Election day is Saturday, June 21, 2014.
– Early voting will began June 9th through June 17th.
– Monday, June 9th and Tuesday June 10th from 7:00 Am to 7:00 PM.
– June 11,12, 13, 16,17 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
– Early voting for Pct 81 & 208 in person will be at City Hall.
– On election day June 21 voters in Pct 208 will vote at City Hall, and voters in Pct 81 will vote at A/B Center on Keene St.

When is the Star sent to the newsstands?
Hi Jerry! We start delivering papers Thursday around noon. Sometimes distribution continues on Friday depending on weather, traffic, and other circumstances. Hope that helps!
