LyondellBasell welcomes new Houston-Area site managers

HOUSTON – June 28, 2017 – LyondellBasell (NYSE: LYB), one of the world’s largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies, is pleased to announce three new site managers for its Houston-area manufacturing facilities.

Christopher Cain has been appointed as the new site manager for the company’s La Porte Complex, having previously worked as the site manager of LyondellBasell’s Clinton, Iowa plant. Cain has 25 years of experience in petro-chemical manufacturing, with more than 22 years of that spent working for LyondellBasell and its predecessor companies. His experience includes working in both engineering and leadership roles with LyondellBasell in polymers operations, turnaround management and olefins operations positions. Cain holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from The Ohio State University, and an MBA from Marquette University.

Kim Foley has assumed the role of site manager for LyondellBasell’s Channelview Complex. Foley has more than 30 years of experience in petrochemical manufacturing, finance, business planning and supply chain, all while working for LyondellBasell. Foley most recently served the company as senior director of supply chain and has previously worked at LyondellBasell’s Channelview Complex in a plant management assignment. She earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University.

Stephen Goff has recently joined the company as the site manager of LyondellBasell’s Bayport Complex and brings with him more than 25 years of manufacturing experience. Goff previously worked for Chevron Phillips Chemical as the site manager of its Borger, Texas manufacturing facility and has held various leadership roles within that company in the areas of operations, technical, maintenance and plant management. Goff holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Texas, and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Houston.
