Rotary International District 5890 hosted a Million Dollar Dinner last Saturday at the Petroleum Club of Houston. The organization was able to have the Rotary International President Ian Riseley from Australia as the event keynote speaker. They raised $3.7 million dollars for the Rotary Foundation with this event.
Rotary Foundation has been doing good for the world for the last 100 years. They have 6 main areas of focus. They promote many projects around the globe for peace and conflict resolution, maternal and infant health, disease prevention, local economy, literacy, and clean water.
