The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office and Crime Stoppers need the public’s assistance in providing any information regarding a fire at the ISGH Northshore Mosque, located in the 13800 block of Brownsville St, Houston, TX 77015.
The incident occurred on July 19 at approximately 4:30 a.m. An unidentified person or persons placed ignitable liquid on door of the mosque and set the door on fire. The fire was limited to the door because of the quick actions of the grounds keeper.
Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office fire investigators also found a car owned by a mosque leader with all four tires slashed. Investigators believe both incidents are related.
