Channelview soccer advances to Regional Semifinals

After a 3-2 victory over C.E. King on Tuesday, the Channelview Falcon Boys Soccer Team advanced to the Regional Semifinal round and will face CyRidge at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Deer Park ISD’s Abshier Stadium.

In the Falcons quarterfinal match-up, they scored three second half goals to defeat C.E. King. Previously, Channelview defeated Alief Hastings in the Area Round and Deer Park in the Bi-District round.

With the win, Channelview now has an 20-1-5 mark overall and is enjoying its best season in the history of the program. The Falcons are led by Head Coach Carlos Galuppo and assistant coaches Clyde Messiah and Stephen O’Sullivan.
