Galena Park, TX. – Tuesday, July 4, 2017 about three thousand citizens gather behind the city’s swimming pool to celebrate the second annual festival sponsored by the Committee For A Better Galena Park, citizens and businesses.
Mayor Esmeralda Moya and the city’s commissioners were present to greet the celebrators.
Citizens enjoyed bar-b-q and all types of grilled foods prepared by various individuals and businesses.

Jacinto City, TX. – Tuesday, July 4, 2017 Jacinto City kids and parents came out to participate in the Parks and Recreation Department’s Annual Bike Parade.
Parks and Recreation Director Ivan Rojas provided a bicycle safety class before the boys and girls following a police escort kicked-off the parade around the city park on Mercury Drive.
After the parade everyone enjoyed hotdogs and refreshments provided by the staff of the recreation department.
