Vaccine shots administered at East Houston Hospital

Streamlined process means patients quickly get life-saving shots

Patients weren’t having to wait long to get their shot, mostly moving in and out in approximately 30 minutes total time.

CEO Shah stated that their East Houston Hospital and Galena Park Clinic have a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines, which they’re making available to members of the community who meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Age 50 and older.

• At least 18 years old with at least one chronic medical condition (examples include Cancer, Chronic Kidney Disease, COPD (See sign-up form on East Houston Hospital website for examples.)

• Frontline healthcare worker / First responder / Essential working / Law enforcement / Teacher / Child care provider / Family care provider / Bus driver.
