On a game watched on national TV, top ranked Alabama fought off their rival Texas A & M, and ended with a 33-14 victory to maintain their #1 position in college rankings.

Much of the credit went to Jalen Hurts, the QB who can run and throw with extraordinary skill. Hurts was also an outstanding quarterback when he played for the Channelview Falcons prior to leaving for Alabama.

Falling behind in the 3rd quarter 14-13, Hurts engineered a 14 play, 77 yard drive then ended in a short pass for a TD. Then in the 4th quarter, he scrambled for 37 yards and scored another touchdown, giving the Crimson Tide a commanding lead that they carried to the end of the game.
