The annual rivalry between the North Shore Mustangs and the Channelview Falcons ended last Friday night with an overwhelming tromping of the Falcons by the Mustangs.
North Shore now has a 7-1, District 5-0 record, while Channelview falls to 3-5, and 2-3.
The Mustangs used two quarterbacks, Bryant Badie and Isaac Cerda, who combined for 309 yards and three touchdowns. North Shore had a total of 545 yards gained on offense. Badie scored one of the TDs on a rush, and Kerrion Hadnot had two rushing TDs for 102 yards. The defense for the Mustangs kept the Falcons down field, and they had to punt 9 times. North Shore had 21 first downs, compared with 9 for Channelview.
