Channelview , TX – Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Ray Maddry Memorial Stadium the North Shore Mustangs easily defeated the Channelview Falcons 62 – 0.
Coach Jon Kay’s Mustangs offense rushed for 365 yards and passed for 210 yards (575) and his defense held the Falcons to 83 rushing yards and 34 passing yards. They continued to have a high number of 9 penalties giving up 84 yards.
Early in the game when it was obvious Kay’s team didn’t have much opposition he began pulling his starting players. His second team continued to score on the Falcons making the score heavily lopsided.
North Shore has a home playoff bi-district game at 353 N. Castlegory Road, Houston, TX 77049 with the Dobie Longhorns on Friday, November 15 at 7 PM. Both teams have a 9 – 1 record.
