Galena Park ISD Stadium, Homecoming game, Friday, October, 25, 2019 – The Yellow Jackets played good football on both offense and defense, defeating the Baytown Goose Creek Memorial Patriots, 26 – 18.
Head Coach Spiro Amarantos of the Galena Park Yellow Jackets had the team playing better than ever this season. His offense rushing game made 201 yards. The passing game needs more plays to better balance the offense attack. It appeared the Patriots were expecting either quarterback Amarion Kelly or running back Eli Quintero to run with the ball. The running game had 49 carries and only 5 passes were attempted.
The Yellow Jackets travel to play the New Caney – Porter Spartans on Friday, November 1st at 7:00 PM at Randall Reed Stadium, 21360 Valley Ranch Pkwy, New Caney, Texas 77357.
